I design and fabricate jewelry in Nancy, where art nouveau was practically the town trade.
Over 12 years I have completed around 300 pieces, most in lost-wax casting with champlevé
or plique-à-jour enamel. Two maisons carry my line, and my enamel kiln has outlived
three landlords.
Atelier & Maisons
Founder & Designer ·
Atelier Everdeen, Nancy
2018 – present
Built an independent studio producing 30 to 40 finished pieces a year across two seasonal collections, each cast in-house by lost wax.
Placed the line with two maisons, Maison Vérendel in Paris and Orfèvrerie Claudel in Lyon, which together account for 65% of annual sales.
Developed a plique-à-jour firing schedule that cut enamel cracking losses from roughly 1 in 5 pieces to 1 in 20.
Senior Enamelist ·
Maison Vérendel, Paris
2016 – 2018
Executed champlevé and basse-taille enamel on 120 commissioned pieces, including a 14-piece anniversary parure delivered on a 9-week deadline.
Trained 3 junior bench jewelers in wet-packing and counter-enamel technique.
Bench Jeweler ·
Orfèvrerie Claudel, Lyon
2014 – 2016
Carved and cast 80+ wax models a year for the house catalogue, mostly floral and insect motifs in 18k gold and silver.
Reduced casting porosity rejects by 30% after reworking sprue placement on thin-walled petal forms.
Apprentice ·
Atelier Guimbert, Nancy
2012 – 2014
Two-year traditional apprenticeship: sawing, soldering, stone setting, and first enamel firings under a master with 40 years at the bench.
