I build and maintain BI pipelines and dashboards, currently 60 of them in production. Over 9 years I moved a 2,000-person company from daily batch reports to hourly refreshes. I write SQL first and reach for a tool only when SQL runs out. My longest-lived dashboard has survived 4 reorganizations without a rename.
