Led the Swedish delegation through 5 rounds of a bilateral social security treaty, signed 2023 and ratified by both parliaments in 2024.
Coordinated a trade promotion programme that supported 31 Swedish firms entering the Korean market over 3 years.

Counsellor, Head of Consular Section · Nairobi

2014–2019

Directed a 15-person consular section covering 6 countries of accreditation, handling roughly 9,000 cases per year.
Ran the 2015 evacuation of 137 Swedish and Nordic nationals from a regional crisis zone in under 72 hours.
Cut average visa processing time from 21 to 9 working days by restructuring intake and appointing 2 local case leads.

Covered the Human Rights Council; drafted 40+ national statements and negotiated language on 3 resolutions adopted by consensus.
