I build interactive data visualization for the web, mostly with D3, WebGL, and React. Over 6 years I've shipped graph and time-series tools used by teams of 40+ analysts, and I once cut a dashboard's initial render from 4.1s to 0.6s by moving 90k nodes off the main thread. I read graph-layout papers for fun, which is either a strength or a warning depending on the deadline.

Senior Data Visualization Engineer, Meridian Analytics Labs

Tel Aviv · frontend data tools group
  • Led the rebuild of the internal graph explorer (GraphLens), now used by 44 analysts across 3 offices for daily investigation work.
  • Moved force-directed layout to a Web Worker + WebGL renderer, dropping first paint from 4.1s to 0.6s on a 90k-node dataset.
  • Set the team's charting conventions and reviewed ~120 visualization PRs over two years, cutting reported "wrong axis" bugs by roughly 60%.
Data Visualization Engineer, Halcyon Data Systems
2019 – 2021
Herzliya · product analytics
  • Built Tideline, a reusable time-series component library covering 9 chart types, adopted by 4 product squads.
  • Cut dashboard bundle size from 780KB to 240KB by replacing a heavy charting dependency with a small D3 wrapper.
Frontend Developer, Kevet Studio
2018 – 2019
freelance · contract
  • Delivered 7 client dashboards in React, including a live logistics map handling 2k position updates per minute.

  • Renders and pans 90,000 nodes at 55–60 fps by batching draws in WebGL and running layout off-thread.
  • Added a cluster-highlight interaction (hover a node, its neighborhood lights, the rest dims to 12% opacity), which testers rated the single most useful feature in a 19-person review.

2019 – 2021
D3 · React · Canvas
  • Open-sourced the core internally; 4 squads and 2 external partners now depend on it.
  • Documented every chart with a live playground, which dropped visualization support tickets by about 35%.
