I coordinate crew, cargo, and vessel schedules above the Arctic Circle, mostly out of Tromso and along the Svalbard supply line. Over 9 winters I have moved roughly 4,200 tonnes of research and field gear per season with a 98.6% on-time delivery rate. I keep contingency plans for weather that changes twice before breakfast, and I still read every fuel manifest by hand.
