I design hand-knotted and jacquard textiles, and have drafted 140 production-ready carpet cartoons over 12 years. My patterns run on looms in 3 workshops across Isfahan and Kashan. I still count knots by hand when the software disagrees with me.

Zarbaf Atelier, Isfahan
- Drafted 46 medallion and all-over cartoons for hand-knotted production, sized from 1.5 × 1 m to 4 × 3 m.
- Rebuilt the atelier's dye archive: 212 vegetal dye recipes documented with wool lot and mordant notes.
- Cut cartoon revision cycles from 3 weeks to 9 days by moving grid drafting to a shared digital template.
Jacquard Designer
2016 – 2019
Kavir Textile Mills, Kashan
- Converted 28 traditional Shah Abbasi and boteh motifs to jacquard weave files for machine looms.
- Held weave error rate under 0.8% across 5 production runs totaling 11,000 m of fabric.
Apprentice Cartoon Draftsman
2013 – 2016
Mirfendereski Workshop, Isfahan
- Gridded and inked 60+ quarter-plan cartoons at 40 raj density under a master draftsman.
- Matched 180 yarn colors per season against the workshop's standing palette book.
