By Letters Patent
unto a Candidate of proven Diligence, that her Deeds be known and her Services recorded
❦ ❦ ❦
To all and singular, greeting: know ye that
Luna Lovegood
Protocol Officer
having her seat in the City of London
Whereas the said Luna Lovegood hath petitioned that Arms be granted unto her in token of faithful service in matters of ceremony, precedence, and state visits; and whereas due inquiry hath been made into her conduct and record; now therefore these presents do assign unto her the Arms, Deeds, and Attainments hereafter set forth, to be borne by her and displayed to all who would inquire after her fitness for office.
I have spent 11 years in protocol and ceremonial work, most recently planning the visits of 23 foreign delegations in a single year. I keep seating plans, orders of precedence, and gift registers accurate to the last placecard, and my last three state dinners ran within 4 minutes of schedule. I own more white gloves than most people consider reasonable.
Or, on a fess gules three keyboards argent; in chief two sealed letters azure, garnished proper, betokening correspondence in four tongues; in base a table diapered, set with four and twenty covers all in order, signifying the marshalling of banquets; the whole within a bordure engrailed vert charged with eight placecards argent, for exactness in precedence.
