I build hands-on science exhibits, 34 of them so far across 6 museums, and I still test
every prototype on real visitors before a single panel gets printed. My interactives
survive an average of 9 years on the floor, which I consider my most honest metric.
The diagram below is offered in the spirit of the era it borrows from: skeptically.

2019 – PRESENT
Led development of "Friction Lab," a 420 m² permanent gallery with 17 interactives; average dwell time of 31 minutes, measured across 1,200 tracked visits.
Cut exhibit maintenance callouts by 44% over two years by redesigning the 8 highest-failure mechanisms with sealed bearings and fewer moving parts.
Ran 26 floor evaluation sessions with school groups; findings changed the final design of 11 of 17 stations.
