Employer's Note

I own and run a payroll bureau in Leeds that processes wages for 214 small employers, about 6,800 payslips a month. Before that I spent 19 years inside payroll departments, from clerk to head of function, closing every period on time. Our error rate last tax year was 0.04% across 81,000 payslips, and I still check the BACS file myself on Thursdays.
