This Indenture Witnesseth

made and entered into on this eighteenth day of July, in the year two thousand twenty-six,

that Meredith Grey, Grantor, title examiner of the City of Louisville, County of Jefferson, Commonwealth of Kentucky, does hereby grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto any interested Grantee (herein, "the prospective employer") full and unencumbered knowledge of the career estate described below, together with all appurtenances thereto.

Recital of the Grantor

Know all persons by these presents: I have examined title for 14 years and have abstracted somewhere north of 9,000 parcels across Jefferson and the six surrounding counties. I clear an average of 11 commercial files a week and my error claims rate over the last five years is one. That one still bothers me.

Description of the Parcels Conveyed
Parcel I · Senior Title Examiner, Falls City Abstract & Title Co. 2018–present · Louisville, KY
Being the largest and most improved tract of the estate, fronting on commercial and industrial closings.
  • Examine and certify title on roughly 550 commercial files per year, including a $46M warehouse portfolio closed with zero post-closing objections.
  • Built the firm's 60-year chain-of-title checklist, now used by all 9 examiners; curative turnaround fell from 12 days to 5.
  • Train 2 to 3 junior abstractors annually on plat reading, easement chains, and mineral severances.
Parcel II · Title Examiner, Beargrass Land Title, LLC 2014–2018 · Louisville, KY
A residential tract, bounded on all sides by refinance volume.
  • Ran full searches on 1,800+ residential files, holding a 99.4% clean-commitment rate through the 2016 refinance surge.
  • Resolved 240 title defects, chiefly unreleased mortgages, misindexed deeds, and one hand-drawn 1911 plat with no north arrow.
Parcel III · Abstractor, Jefferson County Clerk's Office (contract) 2012–2014 · Louisville, KY
The original tract from which all subsequent parcels derive.
  • Indexed and verified 22,000 recorded instruments during the county's digitization of Deed Books 400 through 780.
  • Flagged 130 misfiled instruments for re-recording, each confirmed against the grantor-grantee index.
Consideration Clause

In consideration of the sum of one salary, commensurate and mutually agreed, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the Grantor further conveys the following covenants of competence:
