I design banknotes and security print: guilloche systems, intaglio portraits, and microtext down to 0.18 mm letter height. Over 10 years I have contributed to 6 issued note series across 4 countries, including 2 full family redesigns. I still test every microprint line with a 10x loupe before anyone else does.

2021–present

Lead designer on a 5-denomination note family for a Central European issuer, from concept plates to press approval in 26 months.
Drew the guilloche and rosette system for 3 denominations; the counterfeiting reports for the series show a 41% drop in passable fakes over 2 years.
Built an in-house library of 240 line-pattern modules that cut early concept time from 6 weeks to 9 days.

Intaglio Engraving Designer · Officina Valori Grafici, Milan

2018–2021

Prepared portrait engravings for 2 issued commemorative notes, each requiring roughly 4,000 hand-placed line segments.
Matched digital line work to intaglio press behavior across 3 paper stocks, reducing plate rework rounds from 5 to 2.

2016–2018

Produced microtext and latent-image elements for tax stamps and 12 regional bond certificates.
Ran print trials with the press team on 30+ proof runs and kept the register tolerance log for every one.
