STEP 0 Read before building

I design play experiences: 14 shipped play sets over 10 years, about 3 million units in kids' hands. I also designed the interactive play zones for 2 museums, both still open and both still sticky with fingerprints. Safety and fun get equal weight in my work; a set that passes every test but bores a 6-year-old goes back to the sketchbook.
